The Ikearun Story

Ikearun started about five years ago on a bright sunny day when Solie finally decided to head to IKEA and pick up a wardrobe for his wife Meagh. Well actually it was for their son who desperately needed a closet for his room. If his wife saw one more article of clothing on their son’s floor heads were gonna roll!

Upon arrival at the IKEA in Elizabeth New Jersey, Solie looked around, saw some great furniture and three kinds of people. First there were the very helpful bunch in yellow and blue shirts trained in the art of customer service; locating items, informing customers of what’s in stock, how many, and in what colors. The second group consisted of those who loved the IKEA experience but really didn't want to be bothered with the aftermath of getting their items home & assembling them. A third bunch much like Solie who although adored IKEA really didn’t have the time to shop let alone stand online at checkout or wait for furniture parts to come out from the full service section. Oh yeah Solie knew all about it but, being the dutiful husband that he is, got down to shopping.

After some time had passed Solie received all of his furniture and headed to the parking lot. Luckily for him he owned a van however, when he looked around he saw frustrated people trying to fit their furniture into their cars, on shuttle buses and even worse, some people had no way of getting their items home. Solie, being the good citizen and business man that he is offered some people rides going his way. A couple hopped in his van with their flatpacked furniture, those famous IKEA combos franks with soda, and off they went.

After Solie saw how happy and thankful that couple was he decided he wanted to make more people happy. Thus started Ikearun™ the leading IKEA shopping, flatpack furniture delivery, and assembly service.

And just think if Solie's wife didn't pester him about the closet he would have never gone to IKEA. 

He still thanks his wife to this day :^)
